The Painted Goddess

The Sacred Feminine represents the divine essence of femininity found within all living beings and the natural world. It embodies qualities such as intuition, nurturing, creativity and compassion. 

Each rattle is lovingly crafted to honour the divine feminine energy associated with the season.

The Painted Goddess Rattle

Our handmade Painted Goddess Rattle range are all made from deer hide and are painted to . They are all fixed to carefully selected wooden handles which compliment the energy and intent of each of our Goddesses. Each is handpainted front and back with designs reflective 

We stitch our goddesses using waxed cotton. Our goddesses are painted using acrylics and wrapped with ribbon, waxed cotton and bells to enhance sound quality All of the wooden handles feature our SpiritCraft sigil which charges each Goddess with our intent to support your practice, refelecting grounding and connection to your spirtual journey.


Each Goddess is unique - using locally sourced wood which can vary in thickness, shape and colour, with deerhide also varying in colour, pattern and thickness your rattle will be like no other.

Samhain marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. It is symbolic of Death, transformation, and rebirth and honouring our ancestors. It is a time when the veil between worlds is thinnest.

The Samhain Goddess has a Yew handle embodying themes of longevity, death, rebirth, and protection.

Imbolc marks the beginning of spring and the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It’s a time of renewal, hope, and purification, as the earth begins to stir from winter’s slumber.

The Imbolc Goddess has a willow handle embodying resilience, intuition, flexibility, and the cycles of life and death.

Beltane marks the beginning of summer and the midpoint between the spring equinox and summer solstice.  It symbolises fertility, fire, and the union between the masculine and feminine energies.
