The Painted Goddess

Samhain marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. It is symbolic of Death, transformation, and rebirth and honouring our ancestors. It is a time when the veil between worlds is thinnest.

The Samhain Goddess has a Yew handle embodying themes of longevity, death, rebirth, and protection.

Imbolc marks the beginning of spring and the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It’s a time of renewal, hope, and purification, as the earth begins to stir from winter’s slumber.

The Imbolc Goddess has a willow handle embodying resilience, intuition, flexibility, and the cycles of life and death.

Beltane marks the beginning of summer and the midpoint between the spring equinox and summer solstice.  It symbolises fertility, fire, and the union between the masculine and feminine energies.

The Beltane Goddess has a hawthorn handle, embodying expression, opening the heart and its magical properties.

Lammas marks the midpoint between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox and  the beginning of the harvest season, particularly the first grain harvest.

The Lammas Goddess has a hazel handle, symbolizing wisdom, inspiration, and protection.​
